Momma! Where are you?

Last weekend I was able to get away for a very short 48 hours. I was the quickest 48 hours but so worth it! My friend Abby Wilson had a baby on the 14th this month. I knew if I didn't take a chance to get away before Loren starting racing again I would be stuck here till Spring Break in April. By then the baby will be 3 months old and not a baby anymore! As most of you know, Loren travels to all the Races with his team. What does that mean exactly? Well, starting the weekend of Valentine's Day until Nov. 20th he is gone every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He has 3 weekends in March with no races and 1 weekend in September and 1 weekend in october with no races. So basically I will get no alone time till Thanksgiving.

This weekend was great all by myself. I got to Abby's around 3pm and snuggled baby Wesley. I got to play with his big sister Izzy at 5:45am on Saturday and watch cartoons. We had a blast playing with the baby. I spent Satruday Night at my parents house and happily took 2 Tylenol PM's and slept GREAT without listening to a baby moniter. I woke up at 7:30am which hasn't happened since before Case was born. It was great! I went to church and then saw my brothers and their kids before I drove back home.

So, thanks Loren for playing with the kiddos and not complaining that I wanted to go alone. I really enjoyed my weekend!

Is it already January?

Seriously, I apoligize for not updating in almost a month. I'm sick of looking at the same post everytime I get on here to see if you guys updated your blog. I don't know why I'm such a loser at posting myself...

These pictures are not in any kind of order. I'm really not in the mood the fix that. I just thought Case was being cute. He really hates it when I'm on the computer so he stalks me at my feet under the table until I cave and play with him. (btw-do you love my ugly wallpaper? I can't wait to move out of this place! 5 more months!!)
So I am a loser mom and didn't get any pictures Christmas morning. I was so focused on the dumb video camera being on that I totally forgot to take pictures. I think theses are from like 2 days after. Case got a "Pat Pat Rocket". He really loves Little Enstiens and this Rocket makes all kinds of noises. Loren is in the back ground playing with his new PSP game he got for christmas.

Justin got a "Tag Reader" with 3 different books. He really loves this. It is a great teaching tool. I can plug in up to the computer and it will transfer his info and send me a progress report. It'll tell me what he is struggling on and what he understands. It is very interactive. I've been really happy with it so far. This is also his new robe. Loren thought is was a dumb gift but Justin really likes to wear ir.

JoJo (Grandma Pat) gave most of the grandkids (20+) gift cards to Build a Bear. This was the best gift! They had a great time picking out animals and Justin has even demoted "Baby" to second favorite. (if you knew his love for "Baby" you'd know this is a big deal!) Case got a dog that is really soft and I named him "Patch". Sorry it's not very creative.

Justin picked out this dog. His name is "Sip" I have no idea where that came from but that is what he named him. Apparently Sip loves Iron Man because that is the shirt he picked out. And since Case didn't dress his dog, Justin had enough left over to buy Sip some roller skates and saftey helmet and pads. He goes to school with him and is his sleep buddy at nap time. They are best friends.
So Case was flipping out the other day and wouldn't chill out so Loren thought it would be funny to put him in the hamper. It was funny until he knocked it over and fell out and started crying even harder.

I did take pictures Christmas Eve when Santa came and dropped off his stuff. Justin and Case got to share a Crane Truck and a Dump Truck. They each got a new book and stuffed animal. (Santa really likes KOLH'S charity books and animals) Santa even left Justin a little note thanking him for his picture that he drew for him and the cookies and carrots for the Reindeer.
Also, every Friday I take Case to a play group sponsored by the county here. They offer a clean indoor play room with tons of toys. He goes with his friend Macie and loves it!

Justin did talk to Santa but he was very disapointed when he didn't get the Transformers he asked for.
Here is Justin at his schools Christmas progam singing very loud. I wish I knew how to edit my video cause it is pretty funny! Sorry for the blur I wasnt taking the picture.

Well, that's what we have been up to lately. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. If I didn't send you a Christmas Card I'm sorry that I'm a loser but you should know that by know!
